Mr Bob Stensholt MP, in a review of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, has recommended that the scope of the duty of designers of buildings or structures be expanded to cover the construction phase of the building or structure. The BDAV will be monitoring this matter, to assess the impact and consequences on a building designer’s duty under section 28 of the Act.
