The client’s brief was to design a two-unit development at Bayswater to enable the client and another person with a mobility disability to live independently. The Judges unanimously agreed this project embodied all the principles of ResCode – the Victorian Government’s package of provisions for residential development. The provisions are underpinned by key measures to protect neighbourhood character and amenity, and to ensure environmentally sustainable residential development.
