Jennings Residence

This project combines the beauty and diversity of timber, in all its glory. The result is a warm, welcoming and naturally luxurious home that just seems to fit like an old slipper.

The design incorporates rough sawn hardwood decking, chunky recycled ironbark window frames, recycled karri in exposed trusses, feature raw tree limbs throughout. The extensive timber joinery in the library, study and kitchen areas, and the thoughtful creative detailing in timber floor coverings contribute to its success. In addition, an extensive external terraced timber decking and planter box system allows the theme to flow effortlessly from internal and external spaces, ensuring the dwelling sits unobtrusively within the natural surrounding environment.

The rustic natural external beauty and polished, highly creative internal finishes combine to make this home a worthy showpiece of what is achievable with wood.

This project in Warrnambool also won Residential Design–Alterations & Additions $200K–$500K as well as Most Innovative Kitchen Design.
